The DB Lernwelt offers various ways to log in. Here is an explanation for all the different methods:
You own a DB User account which you use to log in to your BKU-devices?
Are you logging into the DB Lernwelt for the first time?
Then please log in once with your login number (for DB employees this is your personnel number) and the initial password provided to you. Your initial password is usually structured as follows:
- Your last name in lower case.
During this first login process you will be asked to enter a new password. The following password rules must be observed. Password rules:
at least 12 characters, 1 digit(s), 1 lower case letter(s), 1 upper case letter(s), at least 1 special character such as ', - or #.
Passwords can be used again after 5 changes.
Please keep your access data for yourself! Only after this process you can use the DB User as login.
You have already logged in to the DB Lernwelt and changed your password?
Simply log in with your DB User login credentials by clicking on the button "Login DB User".
You will then be redirected to the Single Sign-On (SSO) page. Prerequisite:
You have a DB e-mail address and are already registered in the DB Lernwelt.
You do not have a DB user or are logging in from an external device?
Use your personnel number as usual and the password you have assigned for the DB Lernwelt. Please note that you will be locked out of the system for 30 minutes after 10 incorrect login attempts. If you have any questions, please contact the DB Lernwelt technical support.
You are no employee of Deutsche Bahn?
Please use the login credentials (account number + password) that have been assigned to you during the registration process.
You receive an error message when using single sign-on?
The DB Lernwelt either can't detect a DB email address or can't find a matching user account. You have a DB email address and are a registered user in the DB Lernwelt? Please contact the support.
Who can you contact in case of problems?
The right support contact depends on your login method:
The single sign-on was introduced in order to be able to use the same login credentials for all of the different IT systems of Deutsche Bahn. This does not only make the login to these systems more convenient but also more secure because of the two-factor authentication in use.
